By taking significant measures in climate actions toward carbon footprint reduction, AUO receives the Better Business Climate Finalist Award from the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCT).
AUO acquires the Better Business Climate Finalist Award of 2022, given by the BCCT. This award is given to devoted corporations for excellence and achievements in initiating sustainability and, in particular, climate actions in reducing carbon footprints.

Furthermore, AUO is the first enterprise in the global display manufacturing industry to commit to using 100 percent renewable energy by 2050. Through our Science-Based Targets (SBT) approved methods, we are committed to reducing 25% of our carbon emissions by 2025. By implementing green production, our records of carbon emissions in 2021 decreased by 18% and marked its historic low since 2018.
